Cricut 101

In Person, Hands on Learning 

Learn the ins and outs of “Cricuting” with expert, Nelly Russo and get familiar with Design Space. You will leave this class series with your first completed project and ready to explore the world of Cricut on your own.  If you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills this Cricut 101 class series will teach you everything you need to know to create stunning projects.

What you will learn:

• An introduction to Cricut

• Different types of machines

• Must have tools of the trade

• Getting started with Cricut Design Space Software

• Difference between removable, permanent and heat transfer (iron-on) vinyl

• Learn to cut and apply a vinyl decal to a surface 

• Learn how to download svg files

• Learn how to mirror and apply heat transfer vinyl to fabric items

• Hands on learning

• Create your first project from beginning to end

Bring a non-Chromebook laptop, with the most recent version of Design Space downloaded prior to class. All other materials and tools will be provided.
