This year for Earth Day we’ve partnered with the Newburyport Retail Collective for a Painted Window contest illustrating this year’s Earth Day Theme; “Our Power, Our Planet” We are looking for teams of kids Grade 5-8 to interpret this message by planning a design and painting it on an assigned store window in downtown Newburyport. Each team of up to 4 will register with an adult companion & paint their window on April 10 & 11 from 3-5 pm. Tinkerhaus will provide all the painting materials, participants may want to bring stepladder, paper towels. Windows will be judged by a team of Newburyport celebrities over the weekend and prizes will be awarded. Teams need to remove their paintings from the windows by 5 pm on Monday April 14. A donation from each team will be greatly appreciated to help us cover expenses. You can click the donate button on our homepage to accomplish that.
